A monthly update from the South Dakota Dental Association
Chad Greenway to Give Keynote at Annual Session |
Former Minnesota Vikings linebacker, and South Dakota native, Chad Greenway will open the SDDA Annual Session with a keynote address on teamwork. Greenway is sponsored by Dacotah Bank. He will speak on Thursday morning, May 18 at the Sioux Falls Convention Center. In addition to Greeway, more than 20 hours of continuing education are being offered at this year’s annual session. To learn more or to register online go to: http://www.sddental.org/ Hard copy registrations were included with the March SDDA newsletter. |
Photo Booth at Annual Session Makes Updating Your Online Profile Easy |
If not having a professional photograph of yourself is the main reason you haven’t updated your online profile on ADA.org, consider your problem solved. This year the SDDA will have a professional photographer on site, during the Annual Session, to take member dentist’s photos at no charge. The onsite photographer is part of the SDDA’s effort to get more members to update their Find-a-Dentist profile on the ADA web site. The digitized photo can be used on your web site or for other purposes as well. Beginning this spring, the ADA will be launching a campaign to get more adults into dental offices. Members can update their profile on Find-a-Dentist by logging in to the SDDA or ADA web sites. |
House of Delegates |
The SDDA House of Delegates will meet on Thursday, May 18th at 6:00 p.m. and Saturday, May 20th at 3:30 p.m. Both meetings will be at the Sioux Falls Convention Center in Ballroom B. The resolutions that have been proposed thus far for consideration by the 2017 SDDA House of Delegates are available on the House of Delegates Notebook area of the SDDA website: http://www.sddental.org/about-us/house-of-delegates. |
